athanasyNew Year's Eve 2008 - and I should be doing sooooo many other things right now. So, instead, I'm trawling through all the fanfic bookmarks on my laptop, checking whether anyone has loaded any new SGA, Sentinel or Numb3rs fanfic in the last month or so. I'm up-to-date with the main archives, so this is desperate measures...trying to find new input. Actually, what this should really do is provide the catalyst (no new fic = no new input) to push me into actually writing something instead of reading. Instead, I come across a (probably very old) quiz about which SGA character are you. I did it as truthfully as possible (it would be way to easy to do this with an eye on the outcome, which defeats the objective). Anyhow, I figured I'd come out Zelenka or Carter or something like that, so totally astounded to get....

Coooooool!!!! Very cool. Just hope this doesn't mean I have a proclivity to suicidal acts of redemption at the same time :-) (Or should that be 'acts of suicidal redemption'..?)
I see someone has posted a Vegas-fic to fanfiction. I wondered how long that would take. I was of a mind to try for the first posting (first posting to ff, first posting about Vegas), but thought I'd end up rushing the product and producing something sub-par. So I'll hold off for a while before polishing and posting what will likely be a little ficlet or tag.
I can feel a rant coming on - about SGA - which has been brewing since the summer, stoked by the cancellation and fanned even more by view Vegas recently. I won't contaminate this otherwise innocuous post with these ravings but may put them in a separate entry, so you can choose to ignore them if you want.
7hrs 22mins till 2009. Hmmm...not sure how I feel about that at the moment.
